Halloween Dresden
Worked on another Halloween Dresden plate quilt block today. I pulled most of these prints from my Halloween scrap bin since small-ish scraps are perfect for Dresden quilt blocks. (It’s a great stash-busting pattern! Shameless plug.) I have a decently-large Halloween fabric stash, and whenever I cut into prints for a project, I make sure to throw any scraps larger than about 3″ into a cheap, open-top bin I found at Target a few years ago. The scraps accumulate quickly, and it’s fun to rummage through them to find a variety for a project such as this. Sometimes you manage to find a real treasure towards the bottom of the bin, like that Cotton + Steel haunted house print that I used for the center hexagon. I had a scrap *just* large enough to fussy cut. What a treat!
